4th of July Message from Fr. Manuel

As our country celebrates its independence today we can’t help but acknowledge the promise of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all citizens has yet to be fulfilled. We are a divided nation; torn between the majority who are comfortable with a democratic society that is multi racial, multi ethnic, multi religious and inclusive of the marvelous diversity God has blessed us with and a rabid minority who espouse autocracy and white supremacy. Our history indicates that ultimately the forces of freedom and inclusion will gain the victory. In that spirit let us continue to fight to make the 4th of July a true celebration of freedom and our best values!
