The 2018 Resurrection Collegiate Volunteer Program is back in action this fall, and we’re welcoming yet another group of students from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

The group is comprised of student coordinators Jethro Macaraeg and Kelsey Morihara and participants Rebecca Black, Courtney Brinkley, Emily Campbell, Michael Galeski, Kendall Kellerman, and Natasha Koval.

As always, during their week here at the Mission, the students will assist with various aspects of Resurrection’s pillar programs while providing service to the neighboring community and immersing themselves in the rich civil rights and cultural history of Montgomery. So far, the students have had the opportunity to worship and fellowship with parishioners of Resurrection Catholic Church at Sunday’s Mass service and Resurrection Catholic Church’s Annual Family & Friends Picnic. On Tuesday, the students will attend a dinner where guests include individuals who were locally and nationally involved in the civil rights movement as well as individuals locally leading efforts in social justice and equality.

We here at Resurrection are so pleased to see RCVP back in full swing, and are so happy to welcome another great group of students so dedicated to service!
