For many of Montgomery’s young students, summer break is just weeks away – leaving a good number of working parents wondering where their students will spend the coming days and months.
During the month of June, Resurrection Catholic School is offering parents the opportunity to send their students to a program focused on keeping them engaged in education while preparing for the school year ahead. Developed in hopes of keeping students ahead of the educational curve while avoiding the summer “brain drain,” the enrichment program also aims to help students close gaps and strengthen weaknesses and viable skills discovered during the past school year.
Resurrection Catholic School’s Math and Reading Summer Enrichment Program is geared toward students heading to grades K-8 and will run from June 11 through June 29, Monday through Friday. Free breakfast and lunch will be served daily, and students’ days will be balanced between educational sessions and recreational activities.
Cost of the summer enrichment program is $75 per student, $100 for two students of the same parent/guardian and household, and $125 for three or more students of the same parent/guardian and household. All fees must be paid the Friday before week of classes or in full at time of registration. If fees are not paid accordingly, your student’s seat will be held until the weekly fee is paid.
For specific questions regarding the enrichment program, please contact Principal Tamarcus Milner via phone at 334-230-1973 or via email at tmilner@rcmsouth.org.
