MOTHER’S DAY PRAYER

The prophet Isaiah wrote. “Can a mother forget her infant, be without tenderness for the child of her womb? Even should she forget, I will never forget you.” Is 42: 15.
Gracious God we thank you for the gift of all our mothers. We thank you as well for all those women who with a mother’s love have also loved and nurtured children. Bless them Lord for never forgetting to love us as You have loved us. Bless those who yet labor in your vineyard and those who rejoice in Your heavenly abode. In these difficult days may we always remember You will never forget us Lord as we pray for healing for our land and for all the Earth. With grateful and expectant hearts we pray. Amen.
